GTA 5 release date in October 2012?

Grand Theft Auto has always been a pillar of the game, especially on consoles. The fifth installment is in preparation, and it could be that arrives faster than you think.

Leaks have become true customs in the world of gaming. Information related to the scenario, release date, complete list of vehicles for racing games, so many details that may be on the market long before the official announcements. GTA 5 will be released in 2012, it’s 100 % sure now, we have the official Logo for the new GTA 5 and Rockstar Games will post the first trailer of Grand Theft Auto in 7 days, on the 2nd november 2011 !!!

This excellent news might delight all the GTA fans and all those who were waiting for GTA 5!

GTA 5 not before march 2012?

According to Doug Creutz, a Cowen & Company analyst, GTA 5 won’t be release before march 2012. The chance Take Two launches Grand Theft Auto V in the next financial year is too slim. After the release of Take Two’s financial results, Doug Creutz made the forecast in which the next GTA isn’t mentionned.

Michael Pachter, the famous Wedbush analyst, affirmed in december 2010 that GTA 5 is in development. He expects that it would be released by Q4:12 at the latest, as the contracts of the 3 main employees working on the GTA series developement (Dan Houser, Sam and Les Benzies) expire next year in january 2012.

Anyway between now and then, Take Two has some other aces up its sleeve, like LA Noire, X-Com and Duke Nukem Forever.

According to the famous video game analyst Michael Pachter, GTA 5 will be released in late 2011. He strongly believes that it will come out before January 2012, when many contracts of the major employees working on the GTA series expire, including Leslie Benzies, Sam & Dan Houser. Michael Pachter said  the main employees working on that project would be motivated to release a new GTA before the end of their contract in order to negociate a new contract with Rockstar. He continued that Max Payne 3 would be on the “back burner” to have more time to work on Grand Theft Auto V.

Mike Hickey of Take 2 believes the new GTA 5 could sell 16 million copies and generate 750 million dollars. Take 2 recently said that it was shifting its fiscal year to end on March 31 in order to better put it in line with other major game publishers. There are some predictions for Take 2, it will remain profitable although the next GTA 5 does not come out during its next fiscal year.

We better don’t expect GTA V until 2012, at the earliest! Mike Hickey believes that Take 2’s 2011 fiscal year, which runs from 4/1/2011 until 3/31/2012, will feature 2 important games: Max Payne 3 and L.A. Noire.

Hickey believes those 2 games will lead a software lineup which may include the long delayed Duke Nukem Forever that can make Take 2 profitable in 1 year without a Grand Theft Auto or a Red Dead video game.

When GTA 5 does come out likely in Take 2’s fiscal 2012 (from 04/2012 to 06/2013), Mike Hickey thinks it will be another blockbuster, selling up of 16 million copies and generating more than 750 million dollars. Hickey also predicts that year will see the release of BioShock Infinite, which Hickey estimates will sell more than 4 million copies and 182 million dollars in sales.

A major reason for the high sales expectations is the increased combined Xbox 360 and PS3 installed based in the United States, which Hickey thinks will be 41 million units by the end of 2010. That compares to 14 million in 04/2008, when GTA IV came out.

VGA: GTA 5 released for 2013?

Can’t wait for next year’s awesome games? 2011 looks to be a great line-up, right? But 2012 won’t be bad either – a few delays from 2011 and new games to be revealed might make that even better! But what about…2013? Now it’s just getting silly.

Via Twitter, Geoff Keighley had this to say:

“How far into the future are the VGAs going? I just reviewed a piece that says “coming 2013″ at the end.”

2013? Good lord. Let’s think about this one; to be revealed 3 years before the release must mean this is a huge game, one which will set an unprecedented amount of hype. Assassin’s Creed III is confirmed for next year, Gran Turismo only just came out (finally), and…we’re struggling to think of such a mammoth IP requiring 3 years of hype. Honestly, the only ideas we can formulate in our tiny heads is GTA V or Half Life 3. They’re the only games big enough for an event like this.

According to SystemLink, that big game for 2013 would be GTA 5 or Half Life 3… It is only speculation for now, however the possibility of an imminent announcement for Grand Theft Auto 5 is not rejected! We will know everything in 3 days, this 11th December! Stay tuned about that valuable news!

Has GTA 5: Vice City 2 been confirmed?

I just found what could well be the complete Games Line Up that will be announced during the E3 2011 next June at the Los Angeles Convention Center, which includes the long awaited GTA 5 Vice City 2… Grand Theft Auto V would be release on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 first, then on PC few months later. But even though a return to Vice City has been talked about for some months, these documents can not be authenticated for now, it is still just a Rumor.
